This course is held once a month on a Saturday from 09h00 to 16h00 at our Resource Centre in Constantia. The course takes you through the basics in laying a healthy foundation for your vegetable garden, seasonal planting, garden maintenance and how to plant for your health. It will also prepare you for fighting off pests and disease with natural remedies.
Our mid-week, mini-training sessions cover subjects such as compost making, pest control and container gardening. The workshops are 2-hours long, held on Wednesday mornings and are aimed at people who want to grow their knowledge on specific topics.
