Join the change to sustainability. Combine your company’s team-building events with learning about sustainability and how to grow organic vegetables. While also helping a community school or clinic with food security.

Our one-day event hosts your staff of anything from 5 to 50 at a school or other community organisation. They leave having created an organic food garden and learnt about green living and working in community.

Team Building

Soil for Life is an established non-profit organisation headed by Pat Featherstone – an expert organic gardener and training facilitator. Pat will see to it that your staff experience a fulfilling and fun day. They will learn a lot about themselves, working with their team-mates, the wider community, the environment and ready to come back to make a positive contribution.

About the Facilitator: Pat Featherstone has twenty years of teaching and lecturing experience backed by a B Sc Honours degree in biology, biochemistry and animal diversity. She won a Peace Gardens Award in 1998 whilst working with Food Gardens Foundation, and Soil for Life received the Cape Times Vodacom Environmental Award for Urban Agriculture in 2007.
