Soil for Life is about ‘growing’. Growing food, growing people and growing communities. In order to ‘grow’ more, we are inviting you to join us on an exciting journey.

In early May, a busload of Soil For Life members and other interested parties went on a special tour of selected home food gardens, and community food garden enterprises around Cape Town.

It was not the first time that Soil for Life staff attended the annual awards ceremony. Many Soil for Life supported garden projects were nominated in previous years. The Touws River project already won an award in 2003.
