The basic membership for individuals who want all of the above benefits. R150 per year and one membership card.

Soil for Life members are entitled to:
* Basic information on growing your own vegetables cheaply, safely and healthily.
* Access to fresh, low cost seeds.
* Access to our Resource Centre (open Monday to Friday from 08h30 – 16h30).
* Advice, and your questions answered, by telephone, when you need it.
* A quarterly newsletter for, and about, the people with their hands in the soil.
* Discounted workshops on pest control, organic fertilisers, compost-making, vermi-compost, companion planting, simple nursery skills.
* The opportunity to help other people to help themselves.
Silver membership
Silver membership gives you all the benefits of a Green membership plus the chance to support one township food gardening family for one year. R150 per year (annual membership fee) plus R500 (a once off payment, the equivalent of R42 a month for 12 months)

Gold membership
For an additional annual contribution of R500 or more (over and above the basic membership fee) your name will be engraved on a plaque on display at the Soil for Life Training and Resource Centre. After selecting Gold Membership, please add your preferred donation to your shopping cart separately.

Family membership
A Green membership which extends to three members of your immediate family. R350 per year and four membership cards. By choosing this membership level, you will be supporting 1 square metre of a township food garden for one year (increase the number of square metres by choosing your preferred quantity).
